The European Women’s Lobby (EWL) Centre on Violence against Women is welcoming you on its website, presenting the EWL Observatory on violence against women, data and reports on the situation in thirty countries from the European Union and neighboring countries, current news, as well as a resources on violence against women. Since 2008, the EWL Centre on Violence against Women is supported by the EC Daphne III Programme.
In Europe today, one in four women is a victim of male violence.
